RANCHO PATAGÓNICO
Tourist developed, Rancho Patagónico is the starting point of a unique tourist circuit that links South Patagonia from West to East through a route known as "Ruta del Viento”. This circuit includes the projects "Ruta Nacional 40" and "Ruta Azul", having among its main attractions the Bosque Petrificado "Jaramillo" National Park.
The strength of the place is what Nature gave us, its landscape being so rare that it makes it incredibly beautiful in the eyes of tourists who can visit the Souther Patagonian region.
Its native fauna and flora together with the diversity of the relief make up a cultural and anthropological heritage, with a legacy to be transmitted to all visitors to our Ranch. In it you can experience first hand what life was like in Patagonia in the early 1900s.
THE ESTANCIA
The Estancia "El Pirámide" is located within the Ranch, and provides main accommodations for all visitors. It consists of three houses furnished in the style of the early twentieth century, also having the typical comforts of the time: stoves, clay ovens and a unique Bar built on an old Ford truck from that time period.
As a good country estancia, it has typical animals of the area such as guanacos, choiques, martinetas, piches, peludos and you can even see traces of pumas. In addition, farm animals such as sheep, poultry, horses and grazing dogs are also present. These make the place a true representation of the rugged life of Southern Patagonia in Argentina at the beginning of the last century.

Classified as a Field of Special Conditions for having natural gouges, the Rancho Patagónico rather than being a rugged representation, is the true survival of a lifestyle of more than 100 years ago that has transcended time and space to stay as it was at the beginning of the 20th century.
Its wide area has a perimeter divided into three frames: "Los Alemanes", with typical landscapes of South Patagonia, very broken and with several cliffs of Volcanic Rocks, its surface is 5000 hectares; “El Chenque”, 2800 hectares of landscape and vegetation of the Patagonian steppe, also having petrified
trunks; "Bajo El Avestruz", broken frame and very good pasture, very repaired for the winter with an area of 2500 hectares and two paddocks of 250 and 100 hectares respectively. This site, with historical and anthropological load, is a sample with ruins of those who lived there, added to an unparalleled panoramic view of the valley.
From that place you can see the Cerro Madre e Hija. Also enjoy the beauty of the springs of pure water where the flora, fauna and landscape environment coexist. All this makes this place a natural and historical place with the feeling of the true meaning of contact with the earth that beautifies the soul.
